Happy to remember

I am happy to be privileged enough to remember a moment like this one:

Lying back in the gardens of the Louvre

The day we arrived in Paris, after just three hours on the train, it was beautifully sunny, and after munching on bread and pastry we lay on the grass, in the sun, and basked in the grounds of the Louvre.

Also lying back in the gardens of the Louvre

I’ll miss being able to think about European capitals in terms of how many hours they are away, and not days…

Louvre, Sun, Hedge

But it’s better by far to think about all the amazing things we saw, the delicious food we ate, the beautiful art we took in, the history we breathed.

We’ll be back soon.
